After months of scary and false social media info on the COVID vaccines, the majority of Latina/o's have not been fooled. According to NBC Latino:
A survey by the Pew Research Center in Washington, D.C., finds that 70 percent of Latinos are planning to be vaccinated or have already received shots.
The question remains: will Latino/a's be able to get a shot locally. While many cities and regions are working overtime to make vaccination sites accessible to all, there are still many vaccine deserts.
There is still a large group of vaccine hold-outs in the general population. Even though Latino/a's were initially reluctant to get their shot, common sense and the basic human survival instinct has prevailed. Thankfully!
