Are Latino's Dumping the Dems? The Numbers Say No!

Across a whopping 19 policy issues, from the economy and inflation to healthcare, abortion, gun violence, education, and immigration, Latino voters are giving Democrats a double-digit confidence boost. That's according to top Latino/a pollster Matt Barreto and expert Latina analyst Maria Cardona.

 

While the media is spinning a yarn about Latinos ditching Democrats like three-day-old Menudo, the actual numbers are singing a different tune. Latino voters have always been a complex, nuanced group, but they've consistently leaned toward the Democrats.

 

One fly in the soup? A growing chunk of Latino voters are playing hard to get, declining to register with any particular party. These "no party preference" voters might be causing Democratic analysts to lose sleep, but they continue to hover around the center-to-left side of the spectrum.

 

In the era of Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and other political extremists, these centrist Latinos are set to be the secret weapon in the Democrats' arsenal. So, GOP, eat your heart out while the Dem’s serve themselves a fresh new bowl of voters.
